X Convention of The Indian Society of Agricultural Biochemists.
November 27-30, 2006. Kanpur, India.
Invitation:
We are pleased to inform you that the Indian Society of Agricultural Biochemists (ISAB) and C. S. Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, India are jointly organizing an International Conference on Post-Harvest Technology & Value Addition in Cereals, Pulses and Oilseeds (ICPHT-2006) during November 27-30, 2006 at the University Campus along with the Tenth Convention of the ISAB as an important event of the Centenary Year Celebrations of the University. The first circular regarding the Conference was issued in September 2005 which has evoked very encouraging response from a large number of Scientists related to concerned theme areas of the Conference.
The Post-Harvest Technology & Value Addition in Cereals, Pulses and Oilseeds have drawn much attention of the crop scientists, biochemists, engineers, biotechnologists, food technologists and the industrialists in recent times in order to improve the post-harvest operations in crops and develop food products from them having better nutritional quality. We plan to bring them together to discuss scientific and technological advances made over the years in the area. The conference will address on the emerging scenario in respect of processing, storage, preservation and value addition in crops and shall formulate recommendations to serve as guidelines to those engaged in research and development in aforesaid areas. The entire exercise would ensure that the event becomes interactive and interesting to the participants and delegates.
With greetings and best wishes,
